Keith Richards has promised the Rolling Stones will be rocking on stage again this year, but for the moment they’ll be available onscreen. The venerable British group will preview the release of “GRRR Live!,” a concert filmed on Dec. 15, 2012, in Newark, N.J. during the group’s 50 & Counting Tour, at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 — eight days before it’s released on CD, DVD and Blu-ray.
The concert, re-edited and remixed, features guest appearances by the Black Keys (“Who Do You Love?”), Bruce Springsteen (“Tumbling Dice”), Lady Gaga (“Gimme Shelter”), John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. (“Going Down”) and former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor (“Midnight Rambler”). Tickets via RollingStonesNewark.com.
