It appears that Cher and her 36-year-old boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards are taking their relationship to the next level after the pop star dropped a massive hint online; could this be true?
Taking to her official Twitter account on Christmas morning, the 76-year-old musician shared a photo of a massive diamond ring inside a luxurious black accessory box.

Following this, many fans have speculated that the “Believe” songstress might be engaged to the record producer after dating for a few months.
“OMG did he propose to you!!!?? Mama lovely,” one fan wrote.
“we need details!!!!! I’m sure mom is smiling today! Did she get to meet Alexander?” another one wrote, referring to Georgia Holt, Cher’s mother who passed away earlier this month.

“Is that just for Christmas or is there an extra reason for that beauty?” one asked.
As of this writing, the singer nor her boyfriend has confirmed the actual score between them, but Cher shared a follow-up tweet explaining why she posted the photo of the ring.
“I posted this cause his nails are so cool,” she wrote.
The recent photo comes after the rumors that the musician reportedly wanted to walk down the aisle and tie the knot with her boyfriend, who’s half of her age, before it’s too late.
According to sources who spoke to Radar Online, the pop star is “head over heels in love” with the record executive.
Since she’s getting older, the singer is well-aware that “she doesn’t have much time left anymore to find ‘the one,'” and after getting married twice in the past, she believes that her relationship with Edwards could be her last and “she isn’t going to let it pass her by.”
However, it appears that they’re going to face problems if they wanted to get married as Cher’s friends are said to be worried about the situation because of differences in terms of age and financial status.
The insider clarified that the singer isn’t “stupid” and that’s why if they decide to finally tie the knot, there would be an “iron-clad prenuptial agreement.”
Per People Magazine, the two sparked relationship rumors last month when they were photographed holding hands in Los Angeles, California.
The musician confirmed that she is indeed dating the record producer in a tweet, writing “Love doesn’t know math.”
