South Africa-based learning institution the eAr Academy, in partnership with the Music In Africa Foundation, is giving away free online music courses to 100 musicians across the African continent. 
The eAr Academy employs an innovative, student-centred approach to create complete and rounded musicians. The online school offers courses in piano, drums, guitar, trumpet, electric bass and alto saxophone, and covers seven key facets of music: Tunes, Etudes, Exercises, Reading, Improvisation, Hearing and Theory.
Each course comprises different levels – from beginner to advanced – and includes instructional videos, free learning material and the bespoke ‘Earspace’ where students can collect resources and inspirations and monitor their progress. 
Requirements 
The application deadline is 30 November 2022 and the winners will be contacted by 14 December 2022.

The eAr Academy is a revolutionary online music education platform that offers the most rounded, grounded courses around. It encompasses multiple genres, instruments and levels. Courses cover a more holistic education and inspire a more wholehearted appreciation of music. Material includes video, audio and backing tracks, downloadable PDFs and the unique Shedding (practice) Sessions.
